For Annice Elizabeth
and her Fierce Independence

“Come, wander with me,” she said,
“Into regions yet untrod;
And read what is still unread
In the manuscripts of God.”

Introduction To The Blog

Welcome!

We are the stories we share with others.

By our actions and our stories, we show ourselves to the world. We are our stories as well as the stories of others. The true wonder of humanity is that we share our stories through diverse media involving language, ideas, visual arts, exposition, myth and legend.

The impetus for my blog is observations, experiences, conversations and communications with a diverse array of people, fascinating stories from a variety of media and people, and people who became a part of my life even if for just a short time. This site is dedicated to expressions of the human imagination through stories, poetry, haiku and visual imagery. My blog is your invitation to join in an exploration and sharing of stories and ideas.
